In addition, we provide services to assist and guide the client in through all projects where there is a need for environmental services. Donna McNeal
CEO
By company designation, Donna McNeal assumes the responsibility for ensuring the success of the overall operation of the company. She therefore has the primary responsibility for implementing and managing the requirement of the company agendas. In addition, the overall success of the company’s growth and expansion, as well as the particular selection and grooming of the staff members can be attributed to Ms McNeal. Ms. McNeal has over 22 years of experience in the industrial hygiene and environmental compliance field. Ms. McNeal also acts as liaison between the company and its clients, assuring the clients’ requirement are well defined, understood, and communicated to all company staff members assigned to the clients’ project. Her duties for the company include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintaining a high level of represented professionalism among the company as well as the staff
- Performing all high phased contract administration
- Implementing and enforcing corporate level policies and procedures
- Directing all levels of quality assurance and quality control for both field and laboratory operations
- Conducting upper echelon interface between client and project related programs
- Ensuring all field operations and final reports are exact and meets the needs of the client
- Performing method development and modification to address clients specific needs
- Recognizing proposal opportunities and preparing proposals

Mr. Miles, Senior Level Manager joined ORION Environmental Services in 1998 to provide the organization with technical and managerial experience in the disciplines of occupational health and safety compliance measures, industrial work processes, remediation and abatement design, and general and construction industry standards. Representative diversified asbestos and lead projects Mr. Miles has managed include:

Prior to joining ORION Environmental Services Mr. Miles worked for national and pacific region recognized environmental firms such as ENSR Consulting and Engineering, Dames and Moore, MEDTOX Northwest, PBS Environmental, and the US Army Preventive Medicine.
By company designation, Mr. Miles assumes the in depth responsibility of coordinating and managing all projects in Washington and Alaska. Mr. Miles has broad experience in the industrial hygiene and the environmental field. Responsibilities include selecting, implementing, and directing all company professionals and technicians and supervises the utilization of company personnel. For your needs, Mr. Miles will be performing a combination of tasks to include being the acting liaison.
Key responsibilities that make this team a success includes Mr. Miles’ ability to:
- Supervising the performance of field personnel to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance criteria are followed during all phases of the contract and correcting any deficiencies;
- Resolving technical issues that may arise for all project related compliance issue;
- Performing field audits to monitor the effectiveness of project; and
- Reviewing all contracts/specifications and prepare work plans to ensure all project personnel follow the written criteria of the work plan that will meet regulatory criteria.
Dennis Rauschenberg
Mr. Rauschenberg is one of our Sr. Technicians with years experience in conducting environmental site investigation/oversight and indoor air quality facility assessments. Mr. Rauschenberg joined ORION Environmental Services in 2003 to serve as a field technician for site-specific exposure assessments and risk analysis. Representative consulting projects include:

Training Department Director
Prior to joining ORION Environmental Services Thomas was the Assistant Director for a Maritime Safety Training Facility in Seattle, Washington.
Coming from a large family of Mariners, Thomas has been working and living in and around the
maritime industry since his early teens. He served as a cold water survival instructor to Research Vessels on the shores of the Beaufort Sea 247 miles north of the Arctic Circle.
Thomas has been a lead instructor in many STCW courses such as, Basic Safety Training (BST) for Survival, Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities, FOSS Maritime Responsible Carrier Program, Crowley Safety Programs, and Dunlap Towing Company. Thomas is currently Orion's training development director, and lead instructor on several of our training programs
Additionally, Thomas is a FSO-CS (Flotilla Staff Officer Communications) & SO-CS (Division Staff Officer Communications) in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Thomas has completed the Boat Crew Academy (BCA), including many of the elements of the “Basic Seamanship Manual” for U.S.C.G. Active Duty. Since receiving his boat crew qualifications he has logged thousands of hours with the U.S.C.G./AUX & U.S.C.G. Active Duty in Joint force multiplier missions, including security venue patrols of the major Port Facilities in Tacoma, Seattle, Everett, and Port Angeles.
Thomas is also a proud to serve with the U.S.C.G./AUX in the areas of recreational boater safety, vessel examinations, and visitors programs designed to educate and inform the recreational boater. Thomas is a certified VSE (Vessel Safety Examiner) Recreational Boating Safety Visitation Program (RBSPV), and is training for COXSWAIN in 2011.
