Pre Demolition / Pre renovation Hazardous Materials Inspection

Federal and State regulations mandate asbestos inspections for all demolition and renovation projects. Each staff member at Orion Environmental Services is Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) trained and certified in one or more of the following: Asbestos Building Inspector, Management Planner, Project Designer, Asbestos Work and Supervisor. This extensive cross training of our personnel provides each client with the most effective tools to address and manage their particular asbestos and hazardous materials inspection related needs.

Orion Environmental Services routinely provides pre renovation and pre demolition hazardous materials inspections in a wide variety of public and private locations to include K-12 schools, colleges, hospitals, office buildings, malls, industrial facilities as well as single and multiple family residences.

Each hazardous materials inspection includes a thorough investigation of the structure for Asbestos Containing Building Material (ACBM), lead, mercury, and PCBs. This is accomplished through the collection of the necessary samples followed by a complete technical report which identifies and quantifies each hazardous material present in the facility. These reports are designed to meet or exceed all EPA, L&I and local air pollution agency regulations.
